Mine Your Way Out 2
Mine resources and upgrade your gear in a world where every pixel is breakable and escape the underground. While mining you feel like someone is watching you.
Game length: ~1 hour + 2 minutes it takes to generate a world
Game might run worse on Firefox.
This "sequel" fixes a bunch of problems the first game had and also adds a good amount of new content.

OH MY GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PROGRESS
i dont know how to get into the section thats in the bottom left before the end of the game but either way it was really fun playing a game that has a bunch of terraria references and a sick bullet hell at the end!
uhhhhhh
Great game really enjoyed it thank you
Very interesting game! The beginning was a bit of a drag to go through, especially given you can only mine one block at a time at first and are kinda forced to buy bombs to speed things up, but once you have the rocket launcher, you're absolutely speeding through the game.
Loved the different 'biomes', though I did get a little jumpscared by the music suddenly starting out of nowhere at times xD (Though, this might be a glitch on my end, I am using Firefox after all-)
And what a cool ending! :3
Cute, fun. Good game!
Fun quick little game! But please please please add an option to auto mine/rocket toward the cursor. Holding left click down for the whole game really took a toll on my finger
100% Ow
i wasn't even able to mine diamond yet but i mined a thing that exploded and mined "purple orb" for me which gave me 15k cash which is uhh not intended i think
Lucky you
Hi! It can be that after magma, there is a infinte empty space below? Is part of the game or a bug? Thank you!
The world isn't infinite, that's the world border (the purple pixels)
I'd adore a button to slow my movement down, I've played a fair bit of touhou and not being able to fine-tune my movement is driving me crazy (though I am trying to do it on Hard)
also a bit of feedback on the first boss - the green bullets don't seem telegraphed at all? the only real way to dodge them is to constantly be moving diagonally, but sometimes they just hit me anyway if they come from the direction I'm going in
now on the second boss, I'm having the same problem on the second phase. The tear attack where he goes in the background and spawns tears around you feels particularly weird - there's no real way to know where the bullets are going to spawn, coupled with all the visual noise from his other attacks going on at the same time not getting hit feels more like luck
Any chance of just having the moving around do the mining too?
Its a real pain at the start!
I enjoyed this ore collecting game that specializes in mining and upgrading!
It took about an hour to play, but it was packed with the initial steady mining, the pleasure of increasing mining speed, the knowledgeable updates of investigating the biome, and finally the strongest mining state!
I was super excited, MEOW!
Thanks for posting a Youtube video. Seeing someone play the game is very fun! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
That was pretty nice. It's possible to escape out the bottom since you can actually move through diagonal gaps, though it's not that hard to realize there's nothing down there so it's not worth exploring.
i got trapped after killing getting the heart i cant get out :(
Sorry this happened, what exactly did you do to become stuck?
i destroyed the heart ground transformed around me into something i couldnt destroy
Same thing happened to me, even before the heart, I was looking for the middle orb, I'm not sure why but some of the pixels were consolidating into that purple impassable wall, I guess it consolidated around me as I was moving and shooting.
The game is great, it works perfectly on Firefox. Just a small bug, the camera goes to a random position (in the sand area) against the boss of the, darkness? impossible to win.
But yes, very fun, yesterday I played with everything by default and took me about an hour. This time I put the largest size possible, almost 3 hours.
Glad you like it! Did the camera bug happen on the default world size? I don't recall putting the camera in a fixed position.
Map at maximum size. I saw it yesterday but I didn't pay attention, today I wanted to investigate. Nothing of the battle is seen. At the end of the battle (when I die) the camera returns to its corresponding position, trying again does the same.
Thanks for the report then!
how dose the mining drons work?
If you mean the robots, press R to place them at your cursor (they need to be placed on empty space) and then select any of the 8 directions.
Really fun! I don't think I've ever seen a game transition through three different genres from clicker to exploration to bullet hell quite so well. I only found too bosses, was there one to the south or west?
Really glad you like it! There are only 2 bosses so you got all of them.
Awesome game! Feels like the end of terraria where you get the mining machine. Love the idea here and I think you could really expand on this. The boss fights were fun also! This is def my kinda game
A rather interesting (and fun!) little game, although I was confused about quite a lot of the mechanics at first, and I still don't know what's the purpose of the optional area to the far east (I cleared it, but wasn't given a new tool or anything like that)
